The Burgundy Inn Rules and RegulationsIn order to preserve the atmosphere of our property and protect our guests and property, all guests are required to abide by the following rules:1. Check-In Time is 3:00 PM. 2. Check-Out Time is 10:00 AM. 3. Only registered guests are permitted in your room. 4. Parking by permit only. Cars without permit will be towed at owners expense. 5. The staff of The Burgundy Inn works closely with The Ocean City Police Department to enforce local laws. 6. Ocean City Noise Control Ordinance prohibits noise levels which exceed those established by the Department of Health and Mental Hygiene. Respect your neighbors living beneath and beside you. 7. Fire Code of Ocean City will impose a $1,000 fine to any tenant who removes or unhooks any smoke detectors or fire extinguishers.
Ocean City Laws & Ordinances1. Cross only at marked sidewalks. Do not walk or jog in the bus/bike lane on Coastal Highway. 2. Underage drinking and public consumption (on any street, avenue, alleyway, sidewalk, beach, parking lot, and/or vehicle) of alcoholic beverages is prohibited. 3. Sleeping in any motor vehicle within the city limits of Ocean City is prohibited. Sleeping on the beach is not allowed between 10pm and 6am. 4. Bicycles & rollerblades are allowed on the boardwalk between 2am and 10am. Elsewhere, bicycles may be riden at all times, following all Maryland laws and safe bicycling rules. 5. It is unlawful for any person to make, cause, or continue any loud, unnecessary, unnatural, or unusual noise which annoys, disturbs, injures, or endangers the comfort, repose, health, peace, and safety of others at any time, day or night. No disruptive noises may be made between 12 midnight and 7am that can be heard from a distance of 50 feet from the building or structure where it is located. In addition, no loud noise from a vehicle may be heard at a distance of 50 feet from the vehicle at any time.
